協靈壇 Yew Keng @ Serangoon North Ave 6 - 29.12.10

Was watching '爱’when suddenldy heard some loud noise outside the road. I went to see what's up. To my surprise, there is a nice 花车 and many other lorries just in front of Serangoon north ave 6 moving towards ave 5.

This is the Hiap Leng Tuar Yew Keng. The temple exact location is at Northstar near our house - a 15-20 min walk. Actually the temple is just next to serangoon north estate but the main road happen to be AMK Ave 5.

Their offical address is 7030 Ang Mo Kio Ave 5, #B1-05 Northsatar@ AMK.

I record a short video of the yew keng from my window. A bit choppy video as i am trying to focus on the whole procedure in a comfortable manner. I hope i did not call this wrongly, but should be yew keng as got 'tangki' walking also.

The above photo is taken on year 2006.

Bob bob my red ear slider passed away last night. I do not now exactly when she passed away. When i feed her this morning, she is not moving although her eyes are open. Realised only she had gone to rainbow bridge when i saw she is not breathing at all. Think she is old already as we had her for more than 15 years.

I had touched her for one last time today and seen her for another time before i left for work.

Many times, mum has nagged at me to release ab bob and lizzie into the wild but i cannot bear to let them go. So i had the pairs for more than 10 years.

Ab Bob should be around 16-17 years old i think. Dad had burried her in Sengkang area. Rest in peace, Ah Bob.

Comments should not be that easy uploaded in the internet

12.20 pm, was having a chat on fb with one of my getai friends yesterday till close to 330 am. He was telling me what a monk used to tell him.

The monk said : When you receive a present, you must accept it. If you do not accept it, whom is going to accept your present?"

My friend told me that the meaning of this is when you are angry with someone, that someone ignore you, you will feel even more angry with that someone. Or when someone said something nasty about you, you ignore that comment, that someone will think why i cannot make you angry and he himself become more bitter even still.


Quite like me. So the moral of this story is i just comment and do what i liked, i do not care what others think whether they are angry or dislike what i had done as i am whom i am. I had made all my comments in fb private so only my friends can see and comment. In my setting for friends, i disable the icon for everyone whom can send me messages.

I do feel happier now. I at least got to have the best of both world - i can comment on fb as and when i like, i am not concerned abt some nasty comments from those that are not on my friends list as they are blocked... hahahaha.. I liked the moral of my friend story. Very deep and meaningful.

25/12/2010 农历11月22日 (Sat): Was really upset today. Some one commented on my youtube account that i should not upload my idol video yesterday and my idol told him not to upload and yet i uploaded. This comment is not fair to me.

Firstly i am not a pro, i do not know what is wrong with an certain song - even if a singer sing wrong words or wrong key, i do not know. Secondly it was my idol telling him not to upload his videos, how on earth am i supposed to know the talk bwt him and my idol telling him not to do what. I had decided not to comment to that person about my feeling since i think too much conflict will make thing ugly. I do not like conflicts by words.

From today onward, i will disable all comments on my youtube. I will not tolerate anyone whom threaten to affect me watching my idol coz there is no way i will do anything to tarnish the reputation of my idol. If i know there is something wrong with my video, i will die die never upload one but in this case, i do not know.

I know that saying ' i do not know' is not a good reason why a bad video was uploaded in the first place but as a matter of fact, how many ppl do ask singers what videos should i upload for your singing today. do any of you ask each singers whether i can upload song 1 to song 3 to youtube and fb? I meant every single songs from every single singer? If yes, i really must 败你为师 in my after life for been a horrible pain in the ass. 败 coz you are a failure in life.

Please be fair when you made comment. BTW, i had disable my chatbox as i think it make commenting far too easy for ppl. When comments become too easy, ppl take advantage and comment without thinking that they will hurt some one feeling. FB is a site that is also dangerous as comments are easy. Making enemy is equally easy.

I had already make correction for my so called error. I had deleted my fb posting but i had not deleted my youtube video. I only make my video private. I see no reason to delete my video away since i had take much effor to take the video and uploaded it into youtube. I am truly sorry if any harm had been done but i do not meant to do anything bad. i just upload coz i supported my idol.

For a few min, i had thought why dun i gave up taking videos coz what if i made the same mistake again? --- then i thought back, why i mind so much for a bad comment. The most impt thing is i liked watching getai, i like watching my idol. AND i dun need to care abt any nasty comments. YES, i am stubborn but i am 吃软不吃硬。 I will still upload videos of my idol and songs that i liked sing by getai singers even if i make the same mistake again coz no one is an saint whom never make mistake.

I had an email, i had fb account, PM me or email me but never never try to put me down by making unnecessary stupid comment without thinking. I will not retaliate by talking back in words of conflict but i show my protest in my blog. And i never named that particular person in my blog but if you ask me, i will tell you. I learnt from my mistake.

Today lesson 1 is never to make comments easy for anyone not even to ppl of similar interest.

My mood is having roller coaster today so i do not enjoy my getai today even thought my idol was hosting.

2.00 am 26-12-10 - On a happlier note, i realised that i got lot of concerned fb friends whom asked me why i posted my status at When comments become too easy, ppl take advantage and comment without thinking that they will hurt some one feeling. 小甜甜 - finally get to hear her sing. Seem that yesterday my 'request' was answered as i had mentioned i never heard her sing before. She is not bad - just like zhang jia ling way of singing

As I am a fan of Hao Hao Fan Club, i am very honoured to received Voila-i Calendar from the fan club. I am even more happy to see my idol is featured for 3 months - this show how much 实力 he had both as a singer and a host. BBJM is also not bad as they are featured in two months. I recognized most of the singers in the calender except for heizi, xiao tian tian and ay boy.

I like Wang Wen Ling - saw her perform once in the hougang dou mu gong getai. She really rocked with both her dances and her singing.

Zhang Jia Ling is one of the more familiar face that i often get to see. She is not bad too except her dances is not as many as Wen Ling.

Zhaung Qing Yu also get 1 month. wow, not bad for a getai singer.

I remembered hearing Lee Guo Zhen sing before last year but forget in what getai location. She seldom sing in getai nowadays so i had limited impression of her.

24/12/2010 农历11月19日 - I am very happy with today getai. Can managed to see my idol very clearly. Sister and dad had went earlier and managed to get two seats in row 6. Think sister is the one whom get the seats.. hahaha.. very smart.

I quite enjoy today getai - HH is very funny today with Zhuang Qingyu. I enjoyed seeing their performance together.

I arrived at 8 pm today, getai ended at 1055pm.

I managed to get the calendar from Katherine. Will upload the calender details in my next post.
