This is a peom taken from my sister's blog, i will not post the link since sister will only want a friend-visited blog only. Date of blog was on September 03, 2005. That time, dad was still taking sweetie downstairs to pee and poo..now we had managed to toilet train sweetie. If u had read my earlier posts, sweetie always follow us back to the lift after dad took her downstairs..

"Meow!"
Wake up before dawn breaks,
time to go down for a pee.
It's time to be a stray cat again!
Roll around on the cool morning grass
Peek-a-boo from under the drain.

When the coast is clear (look left, look right)
Dashes out!
Follow papa into the lift,
dashing out only when it says "Storey eight, going up. Di-di-di-di..."
Hose down after that.

A simple meal with a simple meow
before lazing by the window ledge
Busk in the morning sun
While watching the mynahs fly by.

Didn't the notice said"DO NOT feed stray cats"

Mum and I were feeding san pi pa, mimi and ginger in the garden when we saw a group of 6 primary school kids playing in the garden. After i had feed them, notty sanpipa chased ginger and fought with mimi. All of them then ran toward the group of kids.

I had to go and 'save' ginger. One girl said mimi bit her on the leg yesterday and she wanted revenge. Then i asked the kids not to disturb the cats..they asked "Why" and i replied" They are strays, no home." I then told them to play other place that i regretted a short moment later. There isn't any place to play and they were steppin in the stone on the floor,opps, so painful. Telling them to 'get lose' sound a bit 'funny'. When i told the 'leader' of the kids group that i am feeding the cats, she said:"didn't the notice board tell us not to feed the cat". I then replied that: "I can feed if i clear all the litter away." Well, i do not know if i done the right things but i am always more wary of young kids around the community cats.

I reminded the kids again not to scare the cats and then left.

*sign* AVA 'die die' also must put the notice not to feed cats. Our Town council replaced our old notice board and then put the same notice back. i noted that only our block, 545 and the ATM near shop & save had these notices not to feed. I wonder why only our block had these notices whereas other blocks near me did not have those notices. So annoying notices..it only teaches kids one thing "never feed strays since the notice say so", it never taught kids on how to love the stray cats, how to avoid scaring the poor cats or how to avoid abusing cats.

My drop down menu is failing me

The drop down generator that i had used seem to be failing..as a result, viewers cannot visit all the cat graphics sites and animation sites that i had search in the web. I am currently using another topic blog and hyperlink to my main blog page..much easier that me creating a geocities website just to put the links...

New Ginger - Thin

There is a new ginger thin near our area...no foto taken of him...I do not know what to called him and so i named him "san pi pa(hokkein)"-Skinny one.He looked exactly like ginger except his tail is orange, ginger's tail has white and orange strips.

He appeared at our block since last monday..in fact, he was due for sterilization last thur but the malay auntie supposed to bring him to the vet overslept..so the new schedule is on wed, this week..Last thur, i had helped to fetch sanpipa home, when i reached the vet clinic, i "gongon" and do not know that he was not yet sterilized..i am bit annoyed that Linda did not bothered to call me to say he was not yet sterilized..i know only after i reached the clinic...Is a phone call so difficult to made and time consuming?

The new ginger thin make me hard to feed ginger, mimi and him.

Mimi and ginger cannot stand ginger thin and ginger thin make the growl like a dog..

I will like to feed more cats if possible like baby but as u know, some cats just cannot stand another cat's faces and wanted to fight with them..

1) baby love to chase mimi
2) mimi and ginger dun like sanpipa.
3) Ring ring hate mimi
4) sanpipa hate all cats
5) baibai sometimes refused to come nearer to the dark corner where i feed baby..i heard from linda that baibai is caught by duno whom and is injured..i had yet to find out how is baibai but linda told me that another couple is taking care of baibai, baby and ring ring and this is good..another nice couple to feed the poor babies.

i call their cat fight "wars of the world" ...just like at home at sweetie is starting a mini war with kaka and bon bon...

i used to find baby but baby always follow me to find mimi so nowaday, i only feed mimi and sanpipa..while ginger is always missing..i think he has gone to the shop to find the other 4 cats that i do not feed.

Now i packed their food like nasi lamek with rice and chicken inside a plastic wrapper covered with a piece of paper..after they had eaten, i feed them drink soup of the day - chicken soup.. mimi esp love my chicken soup . The chicken soup is boiled from the chicken meat that they had eaten.. mum bought chicken meat and cut the outer layer out..mum said the chicken stall's knife is dirty so she always cut the outer layer..we used to feed the meat to lizzie (our terrapin), now we boiled the meat and bone with meat to feed the cats... I will debone the meat every day..i am also using the cooked meat to feed kaka and bonbon..lucky cats, they enjoy eating chicken meat..but "stubborn" sweetie and DD refused to eat the chicken meat...

going to feed mimi now...i had changed my feeding session to after 10 pm because linda said someone complained to the town council that there are 20 cats at 7 to 8 pm..it is just another stupid lie..in the first place, there are less than 20 cats in our area and in the second place, no one ever feed at that time..

coming to think of it, i had changed my feeding time 5 to 6 times:
1) i used to feed at 8.15 pm
2) then, 8.45 pm
3) then, 9.00 pm
4) then,9.30 pm
5) then, 9.45 pm
6) now, after 10 pm

hopefully, things will be all right with this new time slot to feed them..

Once again, i believed deeply in god....When pong pong came to our house, i secretly prayed to our house 'da bei gong' to let mum or dad won 4D so that pong pong can stayed.. true enough, Mum did won 4-D.

This time, dad is not really happy with the two new comers... but noone wanted them..what to do?
I actaully have these few choices:
Choice 1: Make them stray like the heartless ada
Choice 2: Beg for ppl to pls adopt them--ya..BEG
Choice 3: Advertise them in CWS and hopefully SOMEONE will adopt and not ended up like Jackie in http://fostercat.blogspot.com/2006/04/update.html. As you can see, it is hard to find a true cat lover that is willing to take a cat...
Choice 4: Be salve to the two new-comers by adoping them myself

In the end, My choice is FOUR after 'intense' analyzing of the 4 choices...

Choice 1: Make them stray make me as bad as ada..Linda told me today that ada said if DD's brother and sister can be found, she will take them back home... As i said earlier, DD's brother and sister whom are abandoned were now missing. If ada really think the cats will be piteful as strays, why throw them into the street and when they are missing, said that they are pitiful and want them home...i am really really annoyed with these limp excuss for abandoning cats and feeling 'sorry' later. Linda said that we cannot blame ada as her son is the top priority. But i really do blame ada for making DD's siblings missing. After all, no cats deserve to be stray. At least, she must find a home for them..DD's siblings have been staying with heartless ada since they were small 1 month kittens. To dump them in the street is really dumb as they no longer have survivor skills.

Choice 2: Beg for ppl to adopt.. hmm..i am also dumb if i beg ppl to adopt cats. and begging is illegial in singapore..ha...

Choice 3: advertise in CWS. I really lacked the patience of waiting and allowing ppl to enter my house to view the cats..it is really too much trouble. If ppl wish to adopt, of course i am happy. but if not,how? Fostercat is also very nice to play foster mummy to jackie. In the end, jackie went to one house and returned to foster cat (Thank fostercat for clarifying, i think i mix jackie with other cats..i had read too many cat blogs..make me becoming sotong)..Isn't it very stressful for the cat and for fostercat too? Eventually Jackie returned to the street but is a more happier cat. I am not sure if the two new comers will be a happier cats if i released them into the street. But i really don't have the heart to release them in the street.

My Choice 4: be salve to them.. The longer you are salve to them, the more unwilling you are to let them go. I decided to rename them.. At first, mum called them 'li qi' and 'hei mei gua'. Now their new names are 'kaka' The grey one and 'bon bon' the black one. Every morning i will push them into the cat carrier for them to pee and poo. It is werid of us to use cat carrier as their poo place but we have been using the carrier since DD is with us. Mum is so smart to think of using the hamster's tray inside the carrier so that I can easily remove the newspaper once they are done. We never used cat litter for our cats, just newspaper. Kaka and bon bon are quite intelligent to know what to do once i pushed them inside. Next, i will place their rices and let them out. Once eaten, i will placed them back into their basket. They will then sleep for the rest of the day till it is dinner time.

I guess i must control myself not to bring any more strays otherwise i will end up like Linda whom has ten ex-community cats in her house.

When kaka and bonbon arrived, i took them to pray to our 'da bei gong' and once again, i pray that the two cats will bring luck to dad and mum. My divine prayer is answered today when dad strikes 4-D. I then pronounced kaka and bonbon as the 'Lucky cats' to dad..

Now, kaka and bonbon can offically be our resident cats...and poor mum, sister and I are salves to four cats. Sister and I are in charge of the cats' small and big businesses. Mum is the cook of the Cats where she prepared meals for them every morning and afternoon. I am the Part-time cook where i prepared their dinner at night, together with mimi's dinner. I am currently feeding sweetie and DD streamed fishes plus rice while Kaka and Bon Bon eat chicken or pork plus rice. Linda asked me to take mimi to be sterilized on 31 May... nowaday, sister and I called mimi "xiao mi tao" or " mi tao xiao wang zi" for being so fat and round.

So far, i had yet to introduce sweetie and DD to bon bon and kaka. But they know of their existence. DD went to 'box' the two new comers a lot of times..While timid sweetie only watched them from a safe distance. Hopefully they can be good friends. I think DD will accept them much faster than sweetie.

I will be trying out braggs Apple Cider Vinegar that is said to consist of no preservatives at all...It can used as a toner..just mix bit of ACV with distilled water or rosewater, then stored the mixture into plastic spray bottle..I can't wait to try mine but i had yet to buy the ACV..i only manged to buy the rose water....I wonder how will it smell on my face..will sweetie lick my face later? HA....

Hei Mei gui & Li Qi

Sister finally upload the pictures of the two new-comers..both look sweet esp li qi but li qi is v notty..i had to seperate them as when one pee or poo, i do not know which one and need to take both to wipe their feet and wash them.

Li qi is now tearing the newspaper to pieces for being alone without blackrose.. i am stil not used to calling them black rose and li qi..maybe can called them" black rose" and kaka.

Two new kittens and new complaints from town council

I got two more kittens at home..a beautiful grey kitten and a pure black kitten - both siblings. They were found yesterday morning and i took them home late afternoon.

Later at night, linda called me to ask me to take the two kittens home as the town council had told her to remove the cats or the kittens will be caught away. The cats are only in the void deck for a few hours and those residents have complained. Sometimes, i think it is better to live in AMK than in SN...

The two kittens are extremely friendly and very tame but they had very soft stools.. either worms or poor diet. It is a bit worrying for their soft stools so i did not let them out but keep them locked in DD's basket and seperate their eating bowls from sweetie and DD.

sweetie and dd are very hostile. DD refused to pee or eat yesterday. Luckily, she ran into the toilet this morning. And yesterday, DD slept at my feet, she has never sleep near my feet before. Guess she is scared or she wants attention from me.

For sweetie, she is much better than DD, at least she is doing most of her normal routine like before. I think sweetie is jealous. She refused to come to see me at the door when i went down to feed mimi and ginger. Usually, she will run and stand on hind legs at the door to watch me go out.

I am not sure if i am keeping them because 4 cats is REALLY too much to handle. Their pees and poos alone give me a headache esp sweetie whom refused to poo or pee until i keep her company and coax her multiple times to poo or pee. DD is much better, she know how to enter the toilet to poo or pee by herself. The two newcomers are a headache - they pee or poo inside the basket i am keeping them.. i am washing their basket for the third time...

I got sad news today, DD's brother and sister that were abandoned by stupid ada were missing. *sign*, i am really sad for them... ada claimed that her baby is sentive to cat's fur--actaully i am wondering if that is the case, why want to adopt them in the first place and then abandone them later making them missing.. i am really annoyed with Ada.

Anyway, i see if linda can find someone to adopt the two kittens..sister had suggested posting them in CWS but i do not know how long i need to wait before anyone wishes to adopt them. Mum seem to like the grey cat..and today, she named the black cat "hei mei gua" (black rose) and sister named the other brother, Li qi.. sound familiar...the names are taken from a HK drama. The grey kitten is very beautiful in fact..i think if adoption is avaliable, he will be the first to find new home. His sister, black rose has sucked her brother's ear - like kittens sucking mummy's nipple, i think BR missing milk. They are around 6 months old, almost time to send them for sterilization esp BR before she gone into heat.

Look whom is falling?

Poor sweetie...mum tried to place sweetie on the same desk as DD but sweetie resisted.

In the end, sweetie fall off the desk with a curious DD looking at an embarrassed sweetie that drop off the desk. Mum was trying to catch sweetie but failed. DD look very confused (or is it a look of curious) as she stared at the falling sweetie.

Sweetie as straits times poster girl?

Their mountain pattern in their body is different but it definitely look like sweetie is featured as the poster girl today...except that it is her clone instead of her.

That hand u see is me trying to create the same effect as in the newspaper. We try to use a cup but sweetie keep running away and eventually hide under the sofa. So i used food to tempt her.

Food always work for sweetie - when i need her to come, i will use food, when i need to sleep and she running away from me, i will use food.

General Election 2006

Our whole family will be going to vote next sat, 6 May. This is my first election. I though AMK GRC will have no competitor as like the last election where we have a walkover but this time........

Anyway, there is plenty of time to cast our vote and the voting station is only so near to our house. I think the crowd will be in the morning so it is better to vote in the late afternoon. Mum is predicting that there will be no voting in our ward since we do not see any banner of the parties..look like mum's prediction is wrong..ha..

DD from tiny to 'giant'

This is DD, from the time when she is still a kitten to now, a half-grown adult cat. The last picture is her current size, a 2 kg cat.

Xiao Hei Bob-tail

This is xiao Hei bob-tail whom live in the ground floor unit. He belong to the Malay auntie. He is always allow to go out but he never go far..only the grass nearby. He is an extremely friendly cat with a gentle meow.

More than one month since Pong Pong cross the Rainbow Bridge

I bought the makeup base, one hair wax, one lip gloss, one base coat nail polish and one pink nail polish. All this make me $32 poorer. And i get a cheap free gift. We do not planned to buy the nail polish but the SA said that we bought $26 and just need $4 to get a free gift. Being the typical singaporeans whom wanted "free gift", we decided to buy two nail polish.Actually the other nail polish is a base coat that the SA said can protect our nail. I do not find the need to apply base coat to protect my nail since i normally remove everything after 3 to 4 days. The SA was saying that if you do not protect your nail, the nail will turn yellow.

The makeup base is suppose to reduce redness in your face and even your foundation. Anyway the flowerpod forum will tell you more abt this product.

I am going to CK, hougang to buy silkygirl products. I read the review that their loose powder is good so i will give it a try. My current marbelline wonder finish that i bought last year is not so good, it always make my forehead look oily in the afternoon but still i managed to completed the whole tube. At missha today, i am tempted to buy missha loose powder that is translucent. Eventaully i decided that silkygirl LP is better so i dropped the idea.

It is always nice to revisit hamsterhideout although i no longer have hamsters. They always have cute stuff to share with me.

My favourite creation in mugger cafe

This is my fav corner of the cafe. The big window on the side is supposed to be a takeaway counter but i cannot find any open window so i just placed a big window instead. I liked how the bar counter connected so well together. The door behind the counter leads to the kitchen.

Computer Corner, discussion room and magazine area

We had difficulty finding computers for the computer area..blood managed to find computers from the SIMS by installing the SIMs university that had more funiture. We find other sites to download the white chairs that blood said "must have armrest". I put a dull blue for the discussion room. It look sort of boring, i think i will fall asleep discussing whatever inside the room.

Unoffical project teammates? where's my credit?

According to sister, their project has 9 members. i am the 'ghost' member where i am the '10' member.

My job is to help brother created the floor plan for mugger cafe using "Sim university". I think i spend like 5 hours from 10 plus to 3 am on saturday to design a decent layout. I am going to put more pictures as a memory of my creation.

Yipee, brother and sister's school project had ended yesterday. I found this cute poster in the desktop,the cat look cute yawning but i wonder why blood and sis did not choose sweetie or DD as poster girl. Mugger cafe is just a fake cafe by the way.

Trapped!!!

Baby mimi, now he is no longer this mini size

Today, we find ginger and mimi only at around 10.30pm as sister was home late. We went to find mimi and ginger but we only saw ginger meowing to us. We cannot find mimi but strangly, we could hear him meowing at a distance. We walked around the mini garden but cannot saw mimi anywhere.

We walked toward our block again. The crying of mimi stopped but we cannot saw mimi around. So we walked back to blk 546. Then mimi started to cry again, we were sure mimi is in some trouble or else he will surly run to find us.

We walked around blk 546, no mimi, only saw the 3 community cats that we did not feed looking at us. Then sister looked down the drain, there is mimi, down the drain. Poor mimi, he is trapped under the drain, there is no opening for him to escape.

We lifted the heavy drain cover and encouraged mimi to jump out..After a few seconds, mimi jumped out.

I think mimi is bullied by the 3 other bigger cats.

I also saw baby in the bbq area. baby must have follow ginger to the area. Poor baby, she has a bloody wound near her bottom, i am going to apply 'tianqi' powder to her wound tml. Tianqi powder can be applied to dry wound fast, it can be drink by us to heal internal injury too, it is mainly sold in herbal shops. So if ur cat have any open wound, apply tianqi powder over the wound, you will need to mix the powder with drinking water to be able to apply it over the wound.

After finding mimi, we took them all (baby, ginger and mimi) back to our block to feed them. Mimi is rather scared of baby..but eventually he still ate quite a lot..
