08.05.10 - Went To Toa Payoh by myself today as mum do not want to watch a RC getai program. Had went to Bishan to walk walk in the afternoon. Bought a pair of heart shaped shockings that i heart for $19.90 and a black dress at a very discounted rate of 70% discount for $23.70 - a very good buy for the dress as i get to try before buying. Prior to Bishan, Sister and i Had make a specs again at AMK Blk 453 market. I had planed to collect my new black specs on thursday, 13.05.10 when i come down to watch Getai. New specs cost $280 but it is a good investment.





I took Bus 73 that took me like 20-25 min to Toa Payoh Central and by the time i arrived, it was already close to 8.10pm. The getai area is very easy to watch by standing. I only watchted till 1015 pm when 辉哥 sing the last song.



I had though of walking to NTUC area to take bus 159 and 73 but lost my way so i find myself walking back to the intercharge. Along the way, i went to pat my Bao Bei Friends near XXX area - very tame and friendly friends.

05.05.10 （Wed)农历3月22日 - Today had went to Hougang Central. Not many ppl standing so i am able to get a good standing position.

VERY PEK CHEK with a down syndrome guy that was standing directly in front of the stage. I had no issue with this sort of guy with down syndrome. As what Zhenni said, this sort of guy actually need society care and concern. But of all singers that saw him - Mai Hui, Dong zhi qiang, host Lim Ru Ping, Siling, only Zhenni entertained him by dancing to him and treating him like a little brother.

But i wish he can choose to stand at the side of the stage instead of directly in the centre of the stage. When Maihui came up the stage, the guy stand in the centre... i had no mood to take any more videos and for photos i tried to shift to avoid him.. aiyo.. totally spolit my mood.. i wish the taizhu can at least advise him to stand at the side of the stage or the host can ask him to shift but NO.. NOONE asked him to move..... aiyo... only Four words :SI BEK PEK CHEK. I guess i am standing in a real bad position.

01.05.10 （Sat)农历3月18日- Just learnt yesterday that there will be a getai today. Really like FB, always give me reliable news of Getai whereabout. I realised that even without Dear Mr Ah Tiong Getai info list that he always sell for $0.80 at getai venue, I am still able to get news of getai whereabout... of course, the summary are written and type out nicely by Dear Mr Ah Tiong and posted by ppl whom buy his Getai info in FB. Of course, his info are not 100% accurate.

So should i credit Dear Uncle Tiong for updating us getai 'addicts' with getai info? I think for me, the answer is a Big NO NO NO - no credits to Dear Ah Tiong coz if he did not release any info of getai whereabout, who is going to buy his getai papers for more updates.... Do you get what i meant - less ppl go to getai, less business for him.. that is why i find that he always tell ppl whom buy his getai info where where where got getai by word of mouth. Of course he is very 现实, i never buy so he jolly well ignore me.

Okay, back to today getai. No many singers today, the only singer i like is Bao Bei Jie Mei. Other singers i do not really enjoy their singing. Halfway in the midst of getai, the temple committe still need to celebrate some birthday for two uncles.... alamak.... 伤脑筋... This is quite a low budget getai - less singers with each singing 4 songs and lot of songs sing by the Tai Zu and hosts.

Too much time wasted when the taizu sing two songs. in the end, Bao Bei Jie Mei and Ah Nam had to sing songs together. I did not get the Fan Club form from Bao Bei Jie Mei again.. ***knock my head*** as i had email teresa my application for joining fan club just this morning but she had yet to revert to me.. maybe finding my email an 'Nuisance'..but most likely she is real busy. The date for their fan club date is near so i thought i maybe will not be able to see them again and today they appeared...

30.04.10 （Fri) 农历3月17日 - Today had went to Old Tampines Road, 仙姑殿 to watch getai. We really like how the temple committee arrange this getai --- NO SEAT CHOPPING -- The temple committee had a long practise of not allowing any ppl to take extre seats, how i wish every temple whom organise getai can do this... then there will no more income for Fatty Susan, Ah Qiu and Ah Jiao.. ha ha... esp Fatty Susan will be Skinny Susan.. wow, so funny to think of that.. but i think this will only happen in my dreams. Duno why i find this super funny... ha ha ha... Imagine Fatty Susan - NO MORE FAV FOOD, NO MORE $3 PER SEAT INCOME, NO MORE DANCING AROUND LIKE A FOOL.. MuHAHAHA... Hmm.. i know i am mean but there is no need to treat ppl like her well.

I really love this getai esp when i got a pleasant surprise to see Hao Hao in today getai as a singer. He had sing 4 songs today... really enjoy his singing super much. Today getai ended super late, i had to leave at 1115 pm where Si lIng was singing 雪梅思君. Last two singers are Pei Zhi and Zhuang Qing Yu. Old Tampines Road getai always ended very late usually 1130 - 12 midnight. For ppl like us whom need to take bus home, we had to leave early at 1115 or latest by 1125pm.
