Went to nearby to watch getai. Today getai is an Ah Pek getai so very difficult to watch the getai. I did some video recording but i am not satisfied with the video i took for Tian Yue so i did not upload them on youtube.

Tian Yue, i am in a wrong position to video record his singing. The carpark area make me higher than the stage so although i can see the stage, i had to bend down to take his video but effects are not good for my liking.

Last singer, Malaysian Ya Ya. She is not bad. But getai singers lot of them are called YaYa, i am wondering how to call her when i uploaded her videos on youtube. In the end, still call her 'YaYa'

23/08/2012 农历7月7日(Thur): Went to Blk 23 Hougang. Was very happy to have choose to go tonight coz tonight is so happening. Tonight there lot of Malaysian Singers with only two singapore performers only. Only BBJM and Zhuang Qingyu perform tonight.

The rest of the performers are all Malaysians. Of those, there are 4 whom are had their singing records In Malaysia. These singer are felicia low ling yun, 罗可妮, 余艳珊 and 丽真. Of these few singers, i like Yu Yan Shan singing the most esp her teochew song, Lao Hero. Very nice song.

Went to Hougang Green tonight. I did not know this is a kopitiam Getai event otherwise i will not go. The area is really super cramped.

But we managed to put our chairs right in the back of the area.
The location is good coz i had clear view of the stage but video recording is bad with all those ppl standing up and down, moving left and right. I still managed to get two videos.


Tian Yue. I still prefer his Hokkien songs but chinese one also not too bad.

Getai Area, 'Eat Tables' getai are very difficult to watch.

Today is a long day. Went out with mum and sister to Tampines to visit Aunt at St. Andrew Community Hospital. We stayed till 7.20pm. Then took bus to Tampines Interchange. I took 45 min by bus from Tampines Intercharge to Yio Chu Kang Interchange. Then i anyohow walked to Blk 628 AMK. By the time reached there was already 8.50pm,near to 9pm. Mum did not joined me tonight.

Tonight getai is okay. Not bad and yet entertaining. I do not know abt what others think of the host but from my view, i think he is rather talent. He knew lot of songs and is able to help singer with the songs requested by audience. I admire host whom help singers with their songs on stage. Still remember one particular host, XXX whom not only DID not help the female singer but also very sarcastic in her choice of words. I had already decided to boycott her hosting after this incident.

Today is a busy day. Morning had went to Liang Clan at Kovan road to pray to grandparents as Today is ah gong death anniversary. Afternoon went to Cousin's daugher 1 month birthday celebration. I had stay till near 6 plus but we took our dinner there.

While travelling home, the sky was dark so i thought it may rain. Luckily it never so i proceed to Lorong Ah Soo. Today marked day 1 of the seven month getai i had watched. Tonight getai is okay only, not so say good neither is it too bad. Saw two getai friends tonight. Really admire them to run after their favourite singer. I admit i am lazy, i do not go Jurong to watch Hao Hao tai..hehe. But if Hao Hao come near my kampong, i confirm go.
