Today Getai Star: 4★( 5 stars the max)Got Full Tentage, big stage and chairs provided..nice

★Time watched:9.05 pm to 10.20 pm.

★Favourite Singer: Tian Yue

★Host Tonight: Yang Jun Ting, her mandarin like very power. haha

★Today Crowd: I think the crowd is not that big but maybe is because today is still new year. Not many people so i can find empty chair easily.

★Details of Getai - First time took LRT to Pending Road..haha, never took LRT at Chao Chu Kang before and first time went to Pending to watch getai. I took 1.10 min from my house to Pending road, went alone tonight and purposely went out at 7.50pm as my purpose tonight is only to listen to Tian Yue Songs. Never regret my choice coz i really enjoyed his songs tonight. Listen 4 songs till shiok shiok. I highly addicted to his songs so i am willing to travel that far to hear his songs, my idol..haha.. a bit siao siao and high now... Every time hear nice songs i will be a bit siao siao. Mum said i very 'gu luck', travel so far.

Today Getai Star: 3★( 5 stars the max)Took bus 25 to nearby my kampong to watch. I prefer to watch under tentage in unpredictable weather like today. Just now, had to brave heavy rain to reach Blk 527 AMK. really fear the rain on my head. Giving 3 stars coz there is full tentage, chairs provided and a large stage for performance. This is what i am looking for. Those whom know me know i never run to many places to watch but tonight is special as firstly, i am alone since mum is busy with CNY chores and secondly, the two getai locations are quite near.

★Time watched: 8.35 pm to 10.05 pm.

★Favourite Singer: None

★Host Tonight: Qi Xian. no comment.

★Today Crowd: Not too many people but definitely with chairs and tentage, the crowd is larger than AMK one.

★Videos upload to youtube: None

★Details of Getai - nothing happening tonight but very coincidence to see Chen Xiao Xin twice tonight. once in AMK and once in Serangoon north..haha...

LV sisters, they are repeating too much of one of their teochew songs.. very bad habit when singers overdo this.
- edited on 22.02.2014, just received a nice message from LV sisters, apparently audience enjoy their teochew songs so often, that song will be hear that often. From my perspective view as an audience, there are two types of getai audience - the 'watch often' audience and the 'watch nearby only' audience. I belong to the first group so very often, i get to hear repeated songs more often. At this stage i am watching, i think same songs can be repeated with different bands, different stage and different group of audience.

Today Getai Star: 1.5★( 5 stars the max)No tentage when this is a RC getai, plus no chairs at all. I am really glad i brought my fordable chair with me. Lot of uncles and aunties had to stand but there are others that sat at the coffeeshop chairs to watch. Because of the rain, lot of people watched under the shelter of the HDB flat.

★Time watched: 7.30 pm to 8.10 pm. I left after Tian Yue finished his two songs.

★Favourite Singer: Tian Yue. Took videos of all two songs. As no ppl had their own chairs, i am very close to the stage. An uncle blocked my view, He was standing directly in front of me. I had to request him to move seconds before tian yue sing his songs. Be kind and address ppl in a proper way usually meant i can get what i wish and uncle is rather nice to accept what i told him. Got a electricity problem so i guess that is why Tian Yue only sing 1 CNY song and repeated another song in a 5 min singing. Quite disappointed that i did not get to hear more of his songs. sad sad mood so i left after that...and plus while sitting in the open, i keep wondering when raindrops will drop on my head.

★Host Tonight: Pei Fen, no comment since i only watched her for 5 min when she appeared to introduce singers before i left the area. Tian Yue is the second singer.

★Details for tonight getai: I am very early tonight, i brave the heavy rain and managed to reach the area by 630pm. I had skipped dinner tonight just to be able to go out early. Since i already informed of Tian Yue timing, i had specially went for tonight show just to hear him sing. Quite worth the trip to brave the heavy rain to hear him sing. Other things like the tentage, the chairs are not taken in consideration.

★Today Crowd: Cannot see the crowd as i am very close to the stage. Dun like to be so near the stage actually..i quite 'shy' to be so open. But when i left, can see many people standing at the side to watch.

Today Getai Star: 2★( 5 stars the max)Temple is super cramped. I had to sit at the main praying altar to watch getai. I can watched the stage clearly but for video taking, i am still blocked by pillar and if i zoom in, the singer face kena blocked by temple lantern tail. My purpose tonight is just to watch Tian Yue sing so i had went alone. From my side to AMK, i am able to reached within 35 min by walking fast.

★Time watched: 7.45 pm to 8.35 pm. I left after you min shan sing her second song.

★Favourite Singer: Tian Yue. Took videos of all his four songs. Love all his songs tonight. Videos are not that well taken as i am in a side position tonight.

★Host Tonight: Xi Xian - he is okay tonight. I like how he always ask to sit at empty chairs.

★Today Crowd: As the temple is rather small, i think it reduce the number of crowd also. Most people stay outside the temple or the side of the temple to watch.

★Videos upload to youtube: Upload 4 videos tonight. Can see some frames are blocked by the lantern tails. Anyway, i took videos so that i can listen to Tian Yue songs in my office PC as well. I am rather addicted to listening to Tian Yue Playlist in my youtube account. Nowadays seldom listen to Hao Hao playlist now.

★Sidetrack: On Tuesday 22.01.2012 on around 6 30 am, i saw on fb that ah Nam had died. So sudden. Part of me is rather sad esp that now i am more active in watching getai. When Lin Li and Chen Jinlang died, i did not feel any sad feel at all. Life is so short for some people. I was still watching his host two weeks ago and on Tuesday, he was gone. Life is so unpredictable. Treasure all your loved ones esp your parents.

Today Getai Star: 3★( 5 stars the max)Rainy day and extremely cold night but i still went out. Miss 1 singer voice so must go out. I think going for 1 singer that i like is very worthwhile the journey, like like very much just to listen to Tian Yue Songs.

★Time watched: 8.10 pm to 1010 pm with Bao En the second last singer i watched.

★Favourite Singer: Tian Yue, my new idol. Went tonight despite the cold weather is because i wish to watch him sing. Mei mei had taken video of him so i though i dun need to be extra.. but then, i am starting to regret not taking his videos. Next time i will still take video of him and upload to youtube even though meimei had taken his videos. Cannot resist the urge to grab my camcorder to video all his songs.

★Host Tonight: Pei Fen, hmm.. nothing to say abt host today.

★Today Crowd: meimei had helped us chop two seats but actually because of the rain, there are not a lot of people. We had hide under tentage because of the rain but it is quite irritating that people keep standing in front of us to watch the getai. Meimei had requested them to shift and move. haizz. And yes, i seldom even told ppl to move.. i move my chair instead. Mei mei more professional, she wanted a centre area so that her video can concentrate on the centre of the stage properly. For me, of course i love sitting at the centre of the area but any direction for me is no difference since i treated taking videos as my hobby instead.

★Videos upload to youtube: only take 1 video of Tian Yue that he sing with Bao En and upload to youtube. My itchy hands cannot resist the urge to take video of idol and also i never seen Tian Yue and Bao En sing dual song before.

Today Getai Star: 3★( 5 stars the max) Area is really too hot to enjoy the getai show. Half of the time was fanning myself with the free hongbaos that the Serangoon North Business association had given to audience. Plus as the area was actually a pasar malam area, it was way too cramped. Normally need to bun up my hair when the area was in super oven condition. I choose this area coz this is very near home, walking distance and i think this will be a much better getai than the other nearby RC getai at the CC.

★Time watched: 8.10 pm to 1010 pm (end of show). Not expecting any singers so i took my time there. hmm..never expected Zhang Jialing will be singing there but since she is the last singer, i had not missed her singing. When there is no expected singers i wish to hear, i will not attempt to go there early.

★Favourite Singer: Zhang Jia ling is not really my very favourite singer but quite enjoy her singing tonight esp her 灌醉新年版. And one of my really favourite singer is You Min Shan, she love to sing my favourite oldies songs.

★Host Tonight: BBJM - long time never hear them host. They are quite all right, quite enjoyable to have them as hosts. Da bao was talking to xiao bao why xiao bao did not wan to have cats as pets. Xiao Bao replied that cats will be dismantled. For me, the Chong Pang event happened because the cats are abandoned by their owners, the cats do not choose to live in the corridor. In fact, no responsible owner should just abandon their own pets outside the street. So they are in the mercy of ppl whom do not like cats esp when the cats are just throw at the corridor. this is a extremely sad case because the owner refused to sterilize her female cat and allow the cat to produce kittens.

★Today Crowd: Not say tonight no crowd but the audience seating are too cramped so for late comers, we stay at the side to watch. We are lucky that a kind uncle allow us to place our chairs behind the last rows of the audience chairs.

★Videos upload to youtube: For Zhang Jia Ling and You Min Shan. I make a mistake with Jia ling 'Ling'..haha.. unintentional mistake. I make this error long time before so this error is a 'carry forward' error but all had been fixed. It is nice to have ppl remind you that you make mistake in proper manner but never really scold you for making the mistake. Appreciate this very much.

I just realized something today. To share only one video, i must disable the 'share' playlist, no wonder i cannot share individual videos of Tian Yue the other day. One good lesson learnt.

Today Getai Star: 1/2★( 5 stars the max) Very waste time getai. most time are spend on auction of wine. Auction 7 bottles of wines for around 30 min. After one singer just completed three songs, there are 7 new more bottles for auction. Aiyo... faint lah.

★Time watched: 815 pm to 1000 pm. Hougang blk 2 is very easy for me to go and i ensure i am not late tonight also since i do not wan to miss Tian Yue slot.

★Favourite Singer: Tian Yue. He is not in top condition tonight but can see he had tried his best to sing. At least, he make an attempt to sing one new song for me to take the video. He is Too emo yesterday to the extend of not sleeping whole night. hahaha. He wan to sing another song but band do not have the key.

★Host Tonight: Zhu Li Li. nothing to say abt her but i do not enjoy her hosting esp her Conversation with tian yue.

★Today Crowd: no crowd tonight, no enough chairs and audience need to watch from the side of the tentage. Main area is a buffet dinner going on. The most negative thing is too much time is spend on auction of wine rather than singing entertainment. If not for Tian Yue, i will not go to this temple event.

Today Getai Star: ★( 5 stars the max) - no particular singer i really enjoy

★Time watched: 820 pm to 1030 pm - as usual timing for me

★Favourite Singer: --- - no singers. No mood to upload Hao Hao videos.

★Host Tonight: Hao Hao - took all his videos but somehow no 'wow' effect so just leave the songs in my PC and that is it.

★Today Crowd: Watched from the side of the stage. Crowded and cramped car park lots - not enough space inside the main tentage to watch getai. Most later commers watched from the side. With own chairs, i am able to watch more comfortably. In fact, we walked left and right and finally settled into yesterday same location since we can hear better.
