24.05.10 (Mon)农历4月11日 - Today Had went to Yishun Blk 747 to watch Getai. I thought today Block 747 is very far from the Yishun Central. Luckily my friend informed me that it is just next to the MRT area. Not very difficult to go. Just take Train till Yishun station and go out from Exit D.

I had purposely went out after 7.35 pm as i do not want the mad rush at the Ang Mo Kio station where i am like sweetie wet canned food - packed like crazy...

We arrived at the area at 8 10pm. Today turnout for the audience are not bad, quite a lot of ppl.

I am rather impressed by the Guan Yin Fountain. The area is very well designed. I like anything with water sound like this mini fountain that the temple set up.

Getai Performance @ Sengkang, Opp Blk 317 open field,浪琴歌台 25/11/2009 event - temple celebration host Lee Pei Fen, Band: 神风 - 浪琴歌台

25/11/2009: Today we went to Sengkang Blk 317 open field to watch getai. Dad had went earlier with our house chairs as there were limited seats. Mum and I took Bus 159 and walked all the way in from Blk 323 to Blk 317. It is a rather long walk as we are not familiar with Sengkang. On our way home, we took bus 372 to transfer bus 159 home.

Today trip is quite worthwhile as we get to see some singers that we never seen them sing before. They were Chen Zheng ming from Taiwan and Hong Yiping whom is Hong Xiaoling daughter. Other than those two, other singers included Lim shiling, Zhuang Qingyu, Mai Hui, Chen Jianbin, Esther Ng kailin, Leow Kaiwen (little wang lei). As we only reached the area at 8.20pm, we had missed quite a number of singers, maybe 4 singers at most.

My favourite singer today is Hong Yiping (i am not sure if her name is spelt this way and in any case, i spelt wrongly, i am very sorry abt that). Her dress is like a wedding gown and her singing is very excellent.
