21/11/2009 (Sat) 农历10月5日: Today Dad and I went to Sin Ming Road to watch getai. It was actually a temple event. I love the stage design, very beautifully done. Today host is supposed to be Hao Hao but is replaced by Ah Nam. Heard Ah Nam mentioned that Hao Hao has food poisoning and was hospitalized, sound very serious, hope hao hao get better. BTW, today is the first time i saw Ah Nam selling temple hongbao, he very cute one, will bless everyone whom buy the temple with good words. I liked how he open the show by blessing everyone of us with good words, very unique opening. Whoever say good blessing, i will usually clap the loudest as i want to believe that the words are for me and will come true.
Today singers are 林诗玲, 陈凯晴, 麦卉, 林伟华, Lee Bao En, Wang Kai Ling, 吴佩芝, Xue Ling. I did not get to hear Kai Qing and Bao En sing but i did saw them coming to the area to prepare. I think both of them are the last two singers as one singer usually take at most 15 min to sing 3 songs. My favourite song that i luv is Lin Shi Ling -台湾的旋律. I prefer Lin Shi Ling 杂菜歌 or otherwise known as 台湾的旋律 version than the one sing by 2Z sisters.
As i am not really familiar with Sin Ming area even though i read the maps, i left the area at 9.40pm after 吴佩芝 came on stage. Mum is overseas with sister to Taiwan. Dad had took me to and fro by his motorbike, Boom... I had never been to Sin Ming area before not even realised that there is two lovely Chinese temples there. I will try to take photos of every temples that organised getai. The last time i discovered a unkown lovely temple is the one at Punggol where there is a major two days getai but unfortunately i did not entered the temple, next time maybe should visit the temple with mum.

Can you even to see what is that in the trees? very cute rite, there are around 4-5 of them all sleeping above the trees.

The getai stage banner. If i am right, there may be chinese opera at this temple also as today stage is the same stage used by Traditional chinese opera where wooden poles are used to hold the stage together. But i may be wrong, just a guess. It is easy to spot a opera stage as only wooden poles are used and the stage is usually smaller.

Wang Kai Ling - First time saw her sing and cannot recall remember whom she is by photos till i recall she has the same Chinese name as my sister, Kai Ling

Today host, Ah Nam. There is only 1 host today, not two as stated in Sin Ming newspaper. Sun Quan is only the event organiser.
Sun Qiang, second time heard him sing. Duno why today event does not sound so rocky as the one in yishun ring ler. But he had powerful vocal too.

She today 冲冲得来又冲冲得去. She is late actually because of traffic jam so after her songs, she rushed away immediately.
Xue ling - (should be correct as i am not familiar with her also).
Mai Hui, very friendly singer. Before she left the area, she even said byebye to audience, not sure if it is say to me ler but to audience.
Lin Wei Huang
Wu Pei ZhiPei Zhi is the last singer that i took photos as i need to leave the area with dad whom need to work at night. The last two singers should be Tan Kai Qing and Lee Bao En.
