26.06.10 (Sat) 农历5月15日 - Today We went to Sengkang B118. Initally, we had want to go to Yishun Blk 123 but i am a bit lazy to travel so far. Afternoon time, i had went to see mimi at the vet. Mimi had injured himself in a cat fight so he was warded at a vet clinic at Upper Thomson Road. The weather today is extremely hot. A big contrast from yesterday where i had to walk in disgusting muddy water to walk to work.


Today getai is not bad. I quite liked it esp listening to Zhuang Qingyu - 新不了情, it is a very nice song and Zhuang Qingyu had sing this song very well. Also Pei ling and BBJM singing are excellent. I liked both of them also...

25.06.10 (Fri) 农历5月14日 - Today We took Bus 70 to Old airport road. Second time been to this area so quite familiar with where to aligh today. We arrived quite late, close to 9 pm but nevertheless We are able to enjoy 1 and half hour of entertainment. Today singers are okay, not too bad nor really great. On my way home, i fall alseep on bus 70 and wake up when mum called my mobile wondering where am I. Mum though i am still at Geylang.. haha... As i had alight at the bus stop after First centre at Serangooon north, i decided to walk home instead. It took me 15 min to walk home. Not very scared to walk in the nite actually.. haha.. I had heard someone telling that walking is not exercise at all.. i guess that person do not really walk at all, if u do sweat, u are actually exercising. If not, u better save the walk to take bus. Sweating like made when i arrived home but i am glad that it is night time, not day light, the sum will kill me...

23.06.10 (Wed) 农历5月12日 - Today We went to Sengkang Blk 118 to watch Getai. This is the first time to Sengkang Blk 118. Blk 118 is actually behind Rivervale Plaza. Although Bus 88 stop near the plaza, i had never actually step into this area. We had took bus 159 and transfer bus 88 to the place. Journey wise is quite fast.

Actually, i should be familiar with the area as when i was younger, i used to attend Buddhism lesson at the Fu Hui Temple - one bus stop before Blk 118 bus stop. I can still remember the kampong kampong grass area dad used to take when he drove my siblings and me to Fu Hui. Now, the whole area are fully developed into Sengkang Estate. Sort of sad to see the old image of kampong area gone forever.

We arrived at the getai area at 8.30pm. While walking across the open field, i am bitten by the grass flies... yucks.. next time i will bring something to apply on my legs. I do not mind the muddy grass but the flies really make my goosepimples come up. I only stand for around 10 min before i spotted someone leaving so i take the chance to grab the seat.

20.06.10 (Sun) 农历5月9日, Today went to Blk 466 AMK to watch getai. If not for a great host that is able to create lot of entertainment, today singers are actually super duper boring. Liu Ling Ling is really a good host - not only she is able to sing, talk well, she can create laughter with all singers. No wonder she is Getai No 1 Ah Jie. But i like Qiu Wen, Liu Xin Ling and Zhang Jia Ling.

19.06.10 (Sat) 农历5月8日: Finally get to watch my getai. I am rather busy for the past 1 week. Been running around trying to solve my camcorder batteries. I am very disappointed with Canon product, if Canon is not able to solve my problem according to what i want them to do, i will not buy any more Canon products for the rest of my life.

Back to today getai, AMK B466 was super packed. We are standing when the Temple Committee asked mum if she wanted seats. We are taken to two empty seats quite near the front area. The temple Committee is so nice, find seats for audience. This is the first time i meet such nice Temple ppl that are willing to help audience to find seats. Of course, those seats are chop by Auntie Fatty but she dare not dare to open her mouth.
