08/10/2011 农历9月12日 (Sat): Went to Jalan Kayu getai today with Mum. Today getai started at 4 pm but we are very early today. We reached there at 3.40 pm before the getai started. Thought we choose a good seats but we are blocked by audience standing in front of us so we shifted to the other side. We had choose to sit under the tentage as the sky do not look good with black clouds coming. Luckily the black clouds disappeared.
Really enjoy tonight getai. Other than the yew keng where the nine Jade Emperor will go to the new temple, there are fireworks - 3 round with the first round being the longest and most spectacular is the first fireworks lasting at least 5 min. Love the firework though it is a pity part of the firework is blocked by the tentage but no complaints coz it is really beautiful. Forget to mention, there are free flow of food and drinks for us to drink..nice nice.. today is really a fun day.
