18.07.10 （Sun) 农历6月07日 - Today I am very glad to go to watch 歌仔戏。Today opera is so funny. Actually last year, 福建筱麒麟剧团 had play the same story but in a slightly different version. 筱麒麟.
The second time i watched the same story, i am equally impressed and highly entertained. Quite enjoy 宜忠 performance.
Just learnt that the 花旦- 林顯源 is actually a male. I am very impressed as his performance totally cannot detect any signs that he is a male. His voice as a female is very real. Quite impressed with him...
戏名：欢喜冤家
This is how i get to know the 戏名 for today performance
The second brother and his wife. ( I am not too sure of the family surname so I will called them 'Qin'.
Elder Brother 维仁 was a very unreasonable person whom is hated by all the servants and second's brother wife
维仁scolded the servants for talking behind his back and later announced that he will be going away for 1 month
Yan Ling (林顯源 - really look like a woman, hor. When he speak and sing, totally like true woman)
Yan Ling was adopted daughter. She and her dad live the life of a thief and cheater
Wei Ren in the street
Yan Ling and Wei Ren met in the street, both were hungry and wanted to buy the only rice dumpling
Yan Ling and Wei Ren decided to bid for the rice dumpling
In the end, Wei Ren won the bid but he gave the rice dumpling to Yan Ling
Yan ling dad demanded half of the money from the dumpling seller
Under the order of wen ren's second brother and his wife, the 管家decided to kill Wei Ren. Wei Ren was knocked on the head and fall into the rocky sea
The 管家 thought Wei Ren had died
Luckily Yan Ling and Her dad passed by and spotted Wei Ren in the sea. The dad decided to swim to save him
Wei Ren was finally saved
Wei Ren complained of headache when he woke up
Wei Ren then fainted
When Wei Ren woke up again, he lose his memony and become dim-witted
Despite trying to shake off Wei Ren, Yan's Ling dad cannot stop him from following
Wei Ren keep following Yan's ling dad
In the end, wei ren follow yan ling and her dad back to their house. Yan Ling's dad decided to call him 傻福 and make him help them to cheat money
A Rice lady was flashing her wealth in the street
Wei Ren came and Yan ling and her dad come with a trick. They pretended that if they put something inside Wei Ren's basket, there will be gold bars coming out from the basket
The stupid rice girl asked Wei Ren whether his basket can really turn preals into gold bars
The Rich girl was cheated of all her real jewel in the end
Wei Ren become addicted to opera. He borrowed a officer's clothing from the opera actress and wear it home
Yan Ling's dad taught Wei Ren how to become a officer by telling him that he will pretend to be a officer in opera
Daring Yan Ling's dad took Wei Ren to the magistrate
The magistrate had taken some illegal money and was guilty when Wei Ren followed the scipts given by Yan Ling's dad and questioned the silly magistrate over the illegal money
The magistrate gave Wei Ren the money. Wei Ren and Yan ling's dad fled from the court area
Wei Ren was missing from many months. The Qin family decided to offer reward for the whereabout of Wei Ren - Dead or Alive
Yan Ling Expressed her love for Wei Ren
Wei Ren returned from the market with food and a poster
Getting to eat
Yan Ling's dad found the poster person to resemble Wei Ren very closely. He decided to ask Wei Ren to be the poster person
Yan Ling's dad taught Wei Ren how to act unreasonable
After some beating and scolding, Wei Ren mastered the art of being unreasonable
In the Qin Family, the second son tried to ask his grandfather to pass the family fortune to him
Wei Ren arrived
The 管家 had doubt about Wei Ren's identity and questioned him
Wei Ren tried to run away but knocked his head against granddad's walking stick. His memory flow back to him
Wei Ren told the Qin about the family history
When Asked about Wei Ren whether he had any birthmark, Yan Ling appeared and show the Qin family the birthmark
The second brother and wife begged for pardon
Wei Ren become very nice hearted and forgive his brother
Wei Ren expressed his decision for Yan Ling to become his wife
Yan Ling and her dad was stopped.
