Tonight, mum and i went to XianGu temple at Old Tampines Road to watch opera. We reached there at around 850pm so the beginning of the introduction of the various roles had already been shown. But nevertheless, i still get to know what is the storyline like. Simple story but excellent performance by 筱麒麟劇團 and Taiwaness 羅育忠,羅文惜,羅文君. Wenjun esp is very cute and funny. If you do noticed, now i do know whom is called by what name, more familiar after doing some self research.
Was showing Mum the details just now, mum said 筱凤闽剧团 is not bad as well. I had never watched their performance before so if possible, will try to watch since the taiwanese are staying till the temple celebration ended. Mum had also said that the Getai is worth watching since the date will occur on a Saturday. Yeh, Getai again cum Gezaizi..... 真是大有眼福.

Today story:
In order to live a wealthy lifestyle, Yin lady abandoned her two sons and left her husband to be with Jin. Yin had a son with her new husband.
羅文君 as Yin' son. She is real funny ler.
羅文惜 as Yin and Xiaoqinlin actress as her husband. How i wish 筱麒麟劇團 website can introduce their own actors so i can make introduction to refer them by names rather than just only actress. I think there are mentions of their actress but i cannot know whom is whom once they are fully dress up.
Year later, Yin eldest son had grown up with a adopted sister, Hai jinzhu in the Hai Family. The second son was adopted by the Lee family whom had another daughter. The husband was resorted to become a begger.

In the street, the husband begged for a living where Hai, Lee and Yin son. Hai recognised his own father at once but did not acknowledge him.
筱金枝, the troupe lady boss as Yin's husband. She is still as good. Today, the boss 劉虎臣 did not perform.
Hai was about to give money to the so called begger when he realised that is his father
Meanwhile, Lee went to find his own mum whom refused to leave her current lifestyle. A fight occured between Yin new husband and Lee. Lee was later recused by Hai. At Hai House, Jinzhu and Lee fall in love at first sight. Hai was very upset at this as he was too in love with Jinzhu and wanted to be together with her. Hai decided to find his own birth mum, Yin.
Lee sister and Yin son met in the street and also fall in love at once. Yin son asked for Lee sister marriage. Just then, Lee asked for Yin's son name and parents name and relised he is Yin son as well. Lee asked Yin 's son to cut off his own father head in order to marry his sister.

A injured Lee was saved by Hai whom bought him home for Jinzhu to take care
Because of His own love for Jinzhu, Hai tried to break up the two love birds. In this shot, Both were trying to exchange telephone number - sound funny but this is for entertainment effect

A rather idotic Yin's son having 改头换脸 as advised by Lee sister so Yin's son decided to have a black mask( new face) and a pair of pig ear(new head).
Yin's son and Lee sister fall in love - their combine performance bring lot of laugher to the audience esp their silly talks
Yin's son tried to kill his father but failed. At Yin house, Hai asked his mum to leave with him but Yin refused. Yin husband then send his guards to fight with Hai. Lee appeared also. Together with Lee sister and Yin son, the husband was caught. But Yin begged for her two sons to let go of her husband. Yin realised her mistake and killed herself in disgrace.
A bird brain Yin's son believed Lee word that if he crop off his father's head,the head can still be attacted to the body later so he tried to murder his own father
