30/1/2010: I am extremely disappointed with today getai as there is only 2 singers that i had watched only. Of the two singers, for the older singer, i do not know how to appreciate his singing though it was good. I guess his singing styles does not appeal to the younger generation.

As usual, i arrived late today, i only reached there at 8.30pm. The getai also ended early at 9.40 pm so i had wasted a trip to watch a AIDs script performance and 2 singers. Sad....

A small script performance to advise for safe sex. They are rather Loh Soh. I am very bored actually.


I kept forget his name though mum had a better memony than me. As i said, i do not really appreciate his songs.

Guo Min had sing 3 songs till the performance ended at 9.40pm.

29/1/2010: Today Went to Upper Peya Lebar Road 大庆花园 to watch getai. I know there will be a dinner function going on as my dad had already checked the location at 1 plus. But because today host got hao hao so I must definitely go. I had not seen any of Hao Hao hosting or singing since his concert on 2/1/2010. I am actually looking forward to today getai. I am not too sure how to go initially so i had thought of going to nearby AMK B628 instead but mum know how to get there by bus 76.

We arrived there at 8.45 pm. I am rather late when i returned home from work as i am busily chatting with my friend and her BF. So only managed to leave the house at 8.10 pm.

Getai Performance @ Opps Bishan field, 27/01/2010 Event: InteChinese Lunar New Year Expo-Style Sales@Bishan 2010, Host Chen Jian Bin and Shi Ling.

27/01/2010: Today We had went to Bishan area to watch getai. It was more like a concert as the stage is real big.

The most worthwhile purpose of today getai is to be able to watch and hear taiwanese Super Hokkien Star, 翁立友 sing live. I had record every of his singing in video but for photos wise, as i am very far from the stage, the turnout effect is equally tiny. 翁立友 had sing these songs: 坚持, 行棋, 我问天, 迷魂香. There is another song that he had sing with Lee Bao En but i am unsure of the title for that song. Bao En is extremely fortunate to have the chance to sing with Super star. I am extremely captivated when 翁立友 sing 我问天 down the stage. It is so different to hear the original singer singing this 我问天 song.

I am also very impressed with the stage, the height of the stage is quite high. Below is the stage area:

25/1/2010 （Mon) 农历12月11日: Today went to AMK again. Wang Lei had confirmed that his performance at 18/4/2010 will be his concert. Emcee confirmed are Qi Xuan and Ah Nam.

Wang Lei and Zhu Li Li were very funny on stage, they were discussing about children. I liked what Zhu Li Li said about how a husband must alway love his wife


Zhu Li li sang another CNY song today. I got this bad habit where everytimes i heard CNY songs in shops, i had the urge to buy anything on impulse. When I heard CNY songs at getai, I was thinking about the dozens number of things that i had not done in preparation for CNY like bathing times for my Cats....


First Time Singer, Zhi Liang. He had sing 'One night in Beijing' - just one song. I liked how Wang Lei was standing next to him to support this new singer quietly. Good host always stand beside new comers to help them overcome their anxiety. This new guy is very lucky to have Wang Lei to enlighten him on how to sing better, Wang Had specially said that he will explain to new guy how to sing better at the back stage. Dun everytimes see Wang Lei talking rubbish on stage, he is actually very kind hearted by nature.

Ah Heng decided to show off his singing skills again tonight. He is quite cool to have the courage to sing even though he did not have any singing talents. But his 金包银 was not too bad. Heard that he is selling fishballs at Toa Payoh Blk 75(not sure of the block actually).


Xiao Wang Lei. At 9 years old, his singing is very good.. All the words he sing can clearly be heard.




Wu Pei Zhi, i am starting to appreciate this singer for her strong vocal but i wish she can sing some Hokkien songs. Most of the times i only heard Chinese oldies songs from her.






Lee Pei Fen. After her hosting ended at 9.30 for the Bukit Batok getai, she rushed down to AMK to sing as the last singer at 1020 am.
