Today Went to my nearby area to watch getai. Althought today singers are only a few but i felt that the performance by all of those singers are very good. There is actually very heavy rain but luckily there is tentage. I had thought that this getai will be held in the community centre beside Blk 535. duno why got multi purpose hall also never used, so wasted.
As the rain is very heavy, there are only very few people. But i am glad to meet my getai friend that i get to know in FB. Actually i sort of know whom he is but not very sure whether confirmed is him or not. Today he came to ask if i am jennifer.. very glad and nice to meet him. It is very pleasant to meet FB friends that love getais and see them at getai also. So far, i know 3 friends this way.
Today event is organised by Jalan Kayu Zone 4/5 residents committee for polling event for LUP. My block is not affected as mine belong to the newer group that had lift at every floor
