06/11/2009: Today we decided to go to watch Gezaixi. We acutally got two choice - one is at Defu Lane and the other is at Old Tampines Road. However, the taiwanese actress are different. The one at Defu is from 小飛霞歌劇團 whereas the one at Old Tampines road is from 台南鶯藝歌仔戲團. I liked both troupes actually as i had watched both before in Singapore Temple. In the end, we decided to go to the nearer location at Defu Lane.
Today opera is 薛丁山与樊梨花. Today is part 1 of the story while tml will be part 2. The story is more or less the same version as the one casted by Yang Li Hua.

On their wedding night, Seah learnt that Fan had caught her own father and brother to jail. Seah felt that she was in the wrong. Seah then tried to kill Fan Li Hua.
Seah father was furious and asked his guards to lock Seah
Trouble arises
The leader of a tribe was killed by Seah Dad
The husband of the tribe retrived his wife spirit and used it against Seah dad whom was no match for him
Seah released his son and asked him to capture the husband of the tribe.
In the end, Only Fan can killed the evil tribe leader
Fan with her new found godson, Xie. Xie lost to Fan and their bet is to acnknowledge fan as his godmother
