11/11/2009(Wed) 农历9月25日: Today We went to Hougang Opp Blk 708 to watch getai. We are very familiar with this area also as we alway alight at this bus stop to transfer bus to Kovan.
Today is not bad. The host Ah Nam and Pei Fen combination are excellent - second time see them host together.
Today singers are Tan Kai Qing (first singer that i had miss her singing), Lee Bao En, Zhang Xiong , Xiao Ting, Zhuang Qing Yu, Lu Wei Lun, 2Z Sisters and Xiao Ling, Ho Pei Ling, Huang Zi Qiang.
Today is also Lee Bao En birthday. Her fan, John (he had a facebook account too) had esp bought a birthday cake for her. Actually Bao En fans had set a discussion in her facebook group and requested a mini celeberation for her. It was John whom bought the cake after confirming that Bao En is singing tonight. So thougthful of John to think so detail.
I had taken two videos today - one is the one sing by Zhang Xiong and Bao En, the other is Wei Lun - No 3 Mummy but toward the ending i had to cut off the video as my hand is too numb trying to hold my camera still.
2Z sisters - like my sister and I, the bigger frame is actually the younger sister. Younger sister here is now 11 year old while elder girl is in P6.
Their 台湾民谣 is quite good but they had sing this song also at the Dou Mu Gong temple.

Xiao Ting giving 庄清玉 a hug, they were supposed to sing a song but the summon guy came along and Xiao Ting need to shift her car away.
庄清玉, mum enjoy his songs very much.

Ho Pei Ling was singing her most special song 阴府咒.

As today getai is just next to private estate, the host had to ensure the getai stop at 1030 sharp so today singer had to sing duel with the next coming singer. Zhang Xiong had sing with Pei Ling
Lee Bao En, She looked like a pretty princess. Heard from her fans she love Hello kitty, we are all cats lovers ler but one is a no mouth cat while my own cats love to talk non-stop - MEOWwww
John - Bao En die hard fan- had went up the stage to present Bao En with a birthday cake. Today 11/11 is also her 17th birthday.
While the host were talking, Poor John was trying to protect the candle light from blowing off, he was actually using his hands to shield the frame from going off, very cute young guy. Think he must be wishing Bao En can blow off the candle light quickly.
Huang Zi Qiang, i heard that he had change his name but i am not too sure how is his name spelt so i can only use the name given in STOMP singapore to get his name that is as the one i wrote.
He is also capable of singing both female and male voices.
Whereever Lu Wei Lun went, audience always request him to sing No 3 Mummy like today.
Last singer Xiao Ling only get to sing two combined songs with the hosts.
