11/08/2012 农历6月24日(Sat): Went to 7030 AMK Northstar. Aiya, what AMK, actually northstar is at Serangoon North industrial park area. Sometimes it is confusing when u tell ppl AMK 7030 when AMK is not far, yet not near serangoon north.
Decided to go to nearby northstar since it is within walking distance. Initally had wanted to go to defu blk 1 but changed my mind after seeing the singers list. Actually for entertainment effect just to listen to songs, tonight getai is still considered acceptable. There is a big stage and full tentage coverage with plently of empty chairs for us to take and sit. Anyway there are a lot of presentation of tokens of appreciation. For mum, she nod to sleep. For me, i played with my handphone games so the slight interuption of getai entertainment is still not too bad.
Tian Yue is not bad a host actually althought some ppl think otherwise. His singing is quite pleasant to the ears in fact. I like how he is able to sing many many rojak songs in Chinese and Hokkien. Next time will record his singing. tonight is to hear how he sing and host. I seldom want to go to his hosting but i think i should change my perspective of him. He is a person i would said is highly misunderstood by many ppl including those in his own line. I am one whom had misunderstood him in the past. BTW, he is hire tonight as tonight is a NPD dinner also with MPS attending the dinner. Since he can speak English, Chinese and Hokkien, he is considered to be a suitable host.
I am surprised that the stage is so near my area at Serangoon North Ave 4. Last time i went to Northstar for the seven mth, the stage was at the front carpark that is very narrow.
