17/02/2012 农历1月26日 (Fri): Today i had went alone to Hougang to watch getai. I had took two days leave for this medical appintment. For my medical appointment at TTSh, I am quite happy with my TTSh appointment, not going to reveal much, just that i am glad at my medical result. I will be going to polyclinic for my follow up appointment, i sort of miss my nice doc at TTSH..All i can said is my nice doc at TTSh had saved my life..will miss her..


I had met my ex-colleagues- one is a nice guy that i knew from my 3 short months at my ex company, the other been my ex ITE classmate for dinner. 3 boring months at my old company as compared to 4.5 years from my ex-ex company. My ex-colleagues are quite a fun lot, we took dinner at City Square. After my meal, i took the train to hougang to watch getai.

The field was quite wet... Today i watched only with my camera, that is a good thing coz i do not really enjoy today getai.

24/12/2011 农历11月30日 (Sat): Went to getai after two months MIA. Those whom viewed my fb probably knew my dad already passed away on 18-12-12. He was ill for 6 months. We are busy for 5 days but we knew dad is in a nice place with no suffering and can be able to walk again. Dad, we will miss you.


Today getai is an okay only performance, not much singers since they had a auction near 9.55pm.

11.06.11 （Fri): Long time never blog. This is because of some personal matter but hopefully everything will be fine.. really pray.

Went to watch getai alone yesterday. I was very late, only get to be there by 830 but luckily the area was not crowded and there are lot of chairs. I am able to get a good location.

Today getai is a okay only performance, nothing wow... but i really enjoyed coz i had not watched getai for so long. It is really a good activity for me to relax.

I had set my camera mode to 'P', ISO 1600, DR: 400. It is a shame, i had been using Fuji 200EXP for over 1 year but yet i had been using only the 'Auto' mode for photos. I am not sure how much different are the current photos different from the olders one. Now from the research i done, 'P' Mode with the setting of ISO 1600 is the best for outdoor low light shooting. But I am going to cast Fuji away and use canon Sx230 soon.. bye fuji and hello Canon. Fuji will just be my outdoor camera while Canon will be my getai camera. Fuji for the daily activity and Canon for the zoom.

Yu Ling Long - she is the only singer that i took video but i only took 1 video of her song. She is the only singer that i took video coz i liked getai singer singing new songs that i never or seldom heard before.

08/10/2010 农历9月01日 （Fri) - Today went to Blk 123 Yishun Ring Road. The dong mu gong temple is always very busy in the celebration of the Jade Emperor Birthday from Lunar 1 to 9 of September. There are getais for all nine days of celebration. Last year was also the same.

Today getai is okay. Liu Ling Ling is very funny when she met Ah Nam. Their commedy effect is number one... I had reached there at around 845 pm. Luckily i had take note what bus to take in my last year entry. I had forget what colour of the bus i should take. I am to take Bus 812 -- white plate one from the interchange. Must record down as I am always confused in Yishun.

11.08.10 农历7月02日 (Wed): Took a long time for every night chores so in the end, decided to go to Serangoon Central instead. Big regret to today getai.

Super dislike the host... like a stupid joker, dance here dance there, dun understand why newspaper stated he is full of 'talents'....He did not even introduce the singer's name to audience..True, he talk well but in reality he is full of S _ _ _ !!! BOO BOO, trying to create a storm out of nothing... dun earn respect of normal audience like me.

The location is very bad, i had no chance of going near the stage so I had stand near a shelter area on a higher land that allow me to had a view of the stage but my view was stopped by the speaker... eeee...

Today photos are taken from the videos i took... i had copy them from my video frames so there may be pixels in the photos.

I noticed that for today getai, all singers except Kai Qing are from Malaysia. But anyway I was not early, only arrived at 8.45pm.
