 ★Me about TONIGHT getai: Went there to watch Adrian Tan performance. Had heard his name from meimei but had told meimei that i wanted to hear live songs instead of from youtube. Had to say i love Andrian Tan voice, very deep voice. He is going to be one of my fav singer. Had to praise him for showing sincere appreciation from my videos after I told him that i had took his two videos for him. Wow, he is nice and humble. i seldom get singers that show appreciation by thanking me personally for my videos. So far only three of them that had done this to me, A big thank you.

 ★Favourite videos Tonight: 陈诗源 ～ 爱情做风台, 成功 - nice songs tonight, no band is this nice, got band with his selected key, i think he will shine brightly in the getai industry when we took more effort to promote him in youtube videos. I will work double hard for him..yeah.

★ Today Getai - RC Dinner Getai, difficult position to do video recording without tripod.

★Time watched:9.25 pm to 9.50pm

★Today Crowd: Dinner function

★Videos upload to youtube: 3 video of Tian Yue. My videos not so good coz i am too far from the stage, with zoom, i am facing problem stabilizing the camcorder from shaking.

★Me abt today Getai - was pending whether to go to tonight getai since i had check that tonight is a RC dinner event. In the end still go tonight coz i wanted to listen to Tian Yue songs. I know that meimei will be going but i prefer live performance even though i listen and watched from my camcorder. I think the feel is more special when i review my own videos at home. The mood of watching and recalling the wonderful performance are there when i watched my own videos. Never regret my choice, tonight i like Tian Yue songs esp his second song.

saw meimei and say hi to her..Not bad choice tonight even thought i watched for only 15 min, almost miss Tian Yue performance coz Mr Tan told me his singing is 950 pm. i had left AMK hub at 845 and waited 15min for bus 853..luckily 853 is quite fast to reach Yishun area. Stupid me forget that 851 and 852 also go to Yishun from AMK area, my brain cells not working properly these few days, rusty cells. Fat oil equal to rusty cells. Tonight watched getai in sport wear coz went to gym earlier. should go more gym in future, come back to Singapore eat and eat and grow fat. But morning run is also good enough but just need 2 mths to slim more weight.

Today Getai Star: -- I did not really watched tonight getai, i went there only to support Tian Yue. Never regret my choice. Tian Yue 互动with the audience i felt is better than the host or the other two singers i seen earlier. I really enjoyed hearing him sing tonight.


★Videos upload to youtube: 3 videos, i had edited his words with the audience for all 3 vidoes so that when i hear his playlist, the songs are more 'smooth'.




天悦 ～ 午夜香吻 : I like Tian Yue 午夜香吻, very his type of song. My second favourite song tonight.



天悦 ～ 我问天 : My top favourite song tonight. Toward the ending, his conversation with the audience is so LOL. love that part.



天悦 ～恰恰福建组曲 : Repeated song but i realised for every event, even for repeated song, the feel of how he presented the songs to audience are different. Will upload every repeated song of his in youtube..hahaha

Today Getai Star: 3★( 5 stars the max)Took bus 25 to nearby my kampong to watch. I prefer to watch under tentage in unpredictable weather like today. Just now, had to brave heavy rain to reach Blk 527 AMK. really fear the rain on my head. Giving 3 stars coz there is full tentage, chairs provided and a large stage for performance. This is what i am looking for. Those whom know me know i never run to many places to watch but tonight is special as firstly, i am alone since mum is busy with CNY chores and secondly, the two getai locations are quite near.

★Time watched: 8.35 pm to 10.05 pm.

★Favourite Singer: None

★Host Tonight: Qi Xian. no comment.

★Today Crowd: Not too many people but definitely with chairs and tentage, the crowd is larger than AMK one.

★Videos upload to youtube: None

★Details of Getai - nothing happening tonight but very coincidence to see Chen Xiao Xin twice tonight. once in AMK and once in Serangoon north..haha...

LV sisters, they are repeating too much of one of their teochew songs.. very bad habit when singers overdo this.
- edited on 22.02.2014, just received a nice message from LV sisters, apparently audience enjoy their teochew songs so often, that song will be hear that often. From my perspective view as an audience, there are two types of getai audience - the 'watch often' audience and the 'watch nearby only' audience. I belong to the first group so very often, i get to hear repeated songs more often. At this stage i am watching, i think same songs can be repeated with different bands, different stage and different group of audience.

25.03.12 (Sun): Went to Blk 712 AMK central by myself tonight. I am rather late today. I only reached AMK at 830.. i never expected the getai to end so early, it ended at 935pm.

But then, althought there are not many singers, i quite enjoy today performance esp the performance by BIG and the 变衣 performers. Quite entertaining.


Tonight crowd. It looked like a lot of ppl but it is just because the crowd are spread to a bigger circle so look like fully packed

21/02/10 - Today I find myself very 'hero'. Afternoon go to Hao Hao fan club gathering, at night still go to have fun at Yishun that is actually quite a distance from my area at Serangoon North. I had go alone this time as mum was busy with the preparation for praying of Tian Gong for 9 day of Lunar year. Dad had drove me over to the area, but not without getting lost in Yishun ring road where dad go around the road many times before locating the Blk 200++ areas. After dad had brought me over to yishun, he left and i watched the getai alone.

I am very glad that I had make it a point to go to Yishun today as today getai is really very good. The performance are great. There are actually 花车游行 at the getai area but i waited until 10.55pm and the 花车 did not come to the area still. The area is actually the pitstop for the whole parade of 花车 so once it stopped, ppl can actually come forward to take photos. I left at 10.55pm. When i alighted from the bus stop, i saw the 花车 driving past my bus stop, i took my camera and captured the video of the 花车. They are actually moving quite fast so it is impossible for any photo taking, i am glad that i get to see the 花车 although every year Chingay performance meant nothing to me as i am always not at home.

As the main purpose of today getai is to see the 花车 whom are delayed mainly due to the wet road after the evening rain, the hosts had to keep on talking and singing to keep audience entertained. Having a good host make a whole lot of difference where the hosts can sing to keep audience entertain. I would like to stay longer but i do not stay in yishun area so need to leave early too.

I do not think they mentioned their English group name, any suggestion ler? Mystery Cats sound good...Then they can yelled "Go Mystery Cats, Go Mystery Cats" while singing. Hao Hao did mentioned that the 12 ppl 黑猫 was already disbanded.

12/02/2010: Today Had went to Nearby Blk 151 Serangoon North to watch getai. I had arrived there at 8.45pm. Nevertheless, get to hear Zhu Li Li sing. It was quite a good performance by Zhu Li Li.

Qi Xuan is quite funny today esp when he made fun of Zheng Ying Ying. Qi Xuan had advised all of audience not to quarrel with family members esp for couples at the first day of CNY otherwise the whole family will suffer bad luck. Although sometimes Qi Xuan talk too much, i rather like how he always advise harmony for family peace.

翠霞, judge for 黄金年华 but i am not familiar with her. Heard Qi Xuan said that she was a former SBS actress but i had not impression of her name or her face. Nevertheless she sing very well, worth the trip to hear her sing.

31/12/2009 - Today is a special day as today marked the end of Year 2009 and we will celebrated this day with an 9pm to 12 midnight getai celebration. We are actually very early as we are not clear that today getai started at 9pm so we waited like close to 1 hour.

Today is actually the first i celebrated a Countdown party with many other ppl. It is a great experience except when the getai ended, we waited half an hour for bus 159 or 72 outside NYP but failed to take the bus. So in the end,we walked to AMK Ave 3 to take bus 165 home. Walau, SBS did not even stated which buses operates longer hours so we assumed that all buses operate till 2 am today. We two like gong gong wait for so long, luckily we managed to get a bus home when we walked 10 min to the main road.
