16/10/2010 农历9月09日 (Sat) - Today went to an afternoon getai from 3 pm to 6 pm. I had went direct after my work. Took lunch at AMK central and walked a bit before taking the train to yishun. I arrived just prefectly in time at 3.00 pm. The getai only started at 3.10pm.

Althought the weather is super hot, it is still bearable. Today getai is not bad. Quite enjoy Afternoon getai. Mum and dad only arrived at 5 plus. After watching getai, we went to AMK for dinner. Not bad for afternoon watching getai, still got chance to walk walk.

Xu Qiong Fang is not bad host.. sing well and talk well. I had took quite a number of vidoes. Uploaded 1 video of phine ho in her fb but written the location as hougang dou mu gong. I kept thinking abt the hougang dou mu gong on sunday and was watching predator via alien on channel 5 so when i edit the location, blur blur wrote wrongly. Phine had informed me and i managed to write the correct location.. haha.. that channel 5 show is a waste of time.. eeeee...

Getai Performanace @Beside Blk 123 Yishun Ring Rd 08/10/2010 农历9月01日 event: 汫水港斗母宫凤山寺庆九皇大帝聖诞 host: Liu Ling Ling, - 连心歌台

08/10/2010 农历9月01日（Fri) - Today went to Blk 123 Yishun Ring Road. The dong mu gong temple is always very busy in the celebration of the Jade Emperor Birthday from Lunar 1 to 9 of September. There are getais for all nine days of celebration. Last year was also the same.

Today getai is okay. Liu Ling Ling is very funny when she met Ah Nam. Their commedy effect is number one... I had reached there at around 845 pm. Luckily i had take note what bus to take in my last year entry. I had forget what colour of the bus i should take. I am to take Bus 812 -- white plate one from the interchange. Must record down as I am always confused in Yishun.

Getai Performanace @ Beside Blk248 Hougang Temple 03/10/2010 农历8月26日 event: 吉山庙之夜 host: Hao Hao, - 丽星舞台秀

03/10/2010 农历8月26日（Sun): Today we had went to Beside Blk 248 Hougang Temple. First time went inside this temple. The temple committee are extremely nice, they had prepared full tentage coverage and a whole lot of chairs for audience. One thing i am most happy is i did not get to see those 'chop chop' seat uncle and aunties. Think one of them is in front but at least he is not near me.

Mum thought of this idea that i thought is so good, i posted this entry on FB:

如果每个办歌台的理事向观众拿 $1/$2买一个位来坐--可以捐钱给理事做善事，那不是超好吗？好过给那些恶霸。不过我只是活在梦想中。。。。。

If the temple committee worked so hard to sell hongbaos, they may as well work hard to sell those seats to audience, confirmed got ppl willing to buy one.. haha..but hor, any 'ideas' still got its own limitation. When ppl are so used to one thing, it is hard to accept new ideas.

Just like cheng huang temple, ppl pay at entry for tickets to enter to watch gezaixi. The whole area is covered by barriers that are not blocked. Those whom did not pay for their seats can still watched outside by standing. There are no disorder from the audience. Everyone know that without tickets, you cannot enter to find a seat to watch gezaixi. Haha, hard to apply to getai because of open fields in some location but still can be done if the committee is willing to pay for barriers...

Today getai is excellent. Hao Hao is funny today with zhong jin ling... not bad performance. I had arrived at 745pm after shiling left. Shi ling is the first singer.
