18/2/10 （Thu) 农历1月5日: Today We went to Old Tampines Road. Today is my CNY first getai and i liked CNY getai very much. Out of 15 days of CNY, there will be 12 days of getais. Maybe I will only be going to less than 3-4 days of CNY getai as i am also chasing after 歌仔戏 at Cheng Huang Temple during CNY. It is a rather difficult decision to choose where to go but i usually go to what mum suggested or i will made 'advise' to mum to got to nearby getai areas.
Initally had decided to go to opera on weekends and getai on weekday but as i said decision is hard to made, no wonder there is this chinese saying 女人心，海底针. I can one day said this statement during the day and changed to another statement at the very same night. hmm, to make this sound super simple, you can NEVER NEVER guess what a woman mind is thinking.
I had went there earlier by myself, was a bit worried that the area will be too dark but luckily the bus stop is quite bright and there are other ppl dropping off at the same bus stop and heading for the same area as me. I do not really liked Old Tampines Road as the area is super dark and eerie at night.
I reached the getai area at around 8.30pm. It was not very crowded so i am able to secure a nice location right in front of the stage where i can get super clear photos. I Love to be super close to the stage. The getai ended at 1130pm and we are lucky that we managed to find our way home. Bus 72 is not very packed when we left and as for bus 55, mum asked the bus captain whom informed her that there are still 2 more buses avaliable when we took the bus at 1145pm.
Today is yet another worthwhile trip as there are 3 singers that i had fully enjoyed their singing.
1)Today is the first time i heard 赖建波 from Chongqing China sing. He had lost one arm due to Industrial accident but he had braved all odds to use his capable hand to sing. Heard Ah Nam said his compensation for this accident is only $1000 in singapore currency or around 5000 人民币. It is very sad that such workers in China are not paid the correct amount for industrial mishaps but what is the correct amount to compenstate? I would said it depend on whether the employer had any conscience. I rather like his voice, very deep and nice. He is charming in a way with his singing. Wow, bravo for this guy, 失败不是一切，摔倒一定要学会爬起来，因为希望在人间。
2) After so many months of Getais, finally get to hear 1 pair of Ming Zhu Jie Mei, always get to hear Zhu Li Li sing only but today get to hear both of them sing. I had enjoyed their singing too.
3) I had enjoyed Xu Qiong Fang singing. Mum said that Xu Qiong Fang sing very well. I had replied that she had a very clear voice. The 新年歌 that she sing with Ah Nam are super funny.
saw that 贤当宫 is actually a 大伯公庙. I got read before in the temples review that Temples in Old Tampines Road had 大伯公庙 to bless those drivers in those area as there used to be frequent accidents in the old past. I wonder if 贤当宫 is one of those temple.
First Time entering this temple so it is a must to take photos. I liked Chinese Temples.

Wu Pei Zhi - i was looking at her past photos that i took. I realised that she had grow pretter by days. heard Ah nam said she is already engaged since 21 year old and that was around 2 years ago.
