20/09/2010 农历8月13日 （Mon): Went to Sengkang today. Only managed to arrive at 845 pm. I am rather disappointed with the stage arrangement. It spolit everything. Firstly, the event stage was very close to the getai stage. And the temple event is hosted together with the getai. Eventually we need to hear two voices - one on the getai stage and the other behind us in the temple event stage.
It is a waste because today getai is really a grant one with top hosts that are very good. But as the hosts and singers need to fight their voices with the temple event, we audience are the one whom suffer.
As the getai is near the temple stage, the arrangement is getai on one end, temple stage on other end. This meant the area is cut into two area - this made the sitting area very cramped. I had sit behind the singers' tables but are blocked by the sound system. But i can still see part of the performance but i cannot take any good photos. Videocam is useless here.. aiyo....eee
The temple event is actually very grand but ler....
