Me & My endless numbers of earings

Today, I had lunch with an ex-classmate. I had not seen her like for 4 years. It is a joy to see her again. We had lunch at 'New York New York' @ AMK hub. Food is so so as i find my fish and chips to be nothing special as the one that i always eat that cost only a mere $4.50 while NY cost $9.90. We were grumbling about our poor pathetic working life. Actually me got not much to complain - except hor, the 'C' whom is our king.



What more to complain when

1) working place is only 7 min walk from home,



2) lunch (healthy one ok, NO MSG) at home for lunch hour - can also use this precious 40 min to sayang kitties.



3) 14 min walking from office to home, from home to office, it is a good form of walking ok, brisk walking. I think i am cheating myself by not exercising at all.I can walk very fast if i want to. My family, colleagues had all commented that i walk super fast. Maybe that is why i got super oily face - YUCKs.



My friend, X was complaining abt how all her work seem to be endless. Poor her had to come home close to ten plus almost daily, unlike me -上班一条虫,下班一条龙。 Ya, me very '龙' one, alway leave work place on the dot. But occasionally, i finished work half an hour later. But compared to X, i felt fortunate.



After our lunch and 1 hour of talking, we left NY and walked around AMK hub. I bought myself these earrings(below). The SA did not bothered to give me a proper plastic bag for me to do free promotion on my blog so i did not know what is their shop name. Also i am very cheapo - expensive one that cost $21 for 1 pair, i did not buy... I bought those that cost 3 for $5. I do know recycle recycle but at least had some of ur shop logo on the tiny plastic bag that was used to put the 3 earings. I was telling X that i siao one - see got anything with cat face or cat image, must buy but i of course mind the price tag behind the items - 能省就省.
I was almost tempted to buy a maria cat touch light key chain that cost $6.95 but i reminded myself of the 能省就省 theroy. Actually sister also like that, do not know why she bought that xiami clone jigsaw. We did not nailed it on the wall anyway so it is just left anywhere to collect dust.

This is my earrings box. Mum was saying why u bought earrings when u know how to make one urself. Me said:"No lar, not the same ma, those one is stubs one."

This is bought by sister. It is quite heavy so no one got any chance to wear it as we do not want to risk making our earlobes hole to widen. And we do not have any intention to put a big round button on our open earlobes hole(if we happen to have one). If u read the gossip zao bao, you would read the freaking weird guy that purposly widen his earlobes hole so that he can put 20 cents diameter -wide round earring on his ear.

My self-made Shirt-folding cardboard

My first non-impressive Shirt-Folding cardboard. I admit it looked very ugly but the end result is very satisfying

THIS, see how neat the shirts are arranged. I found that once the clothes are neat, you can even add more clothes on top of your current ones. This is because the cardboard ensure that every shirts u fold are of the same size. It looke so pro..ha ha...

I learnt how to make one from this video clip:



One thing to warn you, the measurement i discovered are not very accurate. I had to take out the tape a few times before i get it right.

Try use trial and error.. as long as you had a bigger centre piece, followed the right-left flip, the centre area that take the shape of how ur shirt will looked like once it is fold.

The area of the left and right flip MUST always be smaller than ur width of your whole shirt so you will have some clothes for you to flip when u close the right and left flip on ur T-shirt. (do not know how to explain properly but once u see the video and started on the actual project, you will know what am i saying)

WARNING: Keep all cats away from your cardboard or they will think it is their new cat scratching post.

I realized that i never blog about what i purchase with photos. I had just came back from AMK, B409 market.

I always love B409 market - lot of temp stalls to see unlike B453 market with few interesting stalls to see.There is this uncle(right inside the market) that sells very cheap range of shoes that is fashionable. Sister bought a flower black shoes while i bought two pairs.

After our purchase, we walked around the market while mum went to buy some vegetables. Sister and I were tempted to buy a cat bag that cost $14 for a small one and $16 for a big one from one of the temp stall but in the end, we decided not to buy on impulse as we will not be able to use the bag that often. I think most cat owners will love the bag - hmm kind of regretted not to buy but i feel the price wise is a bit expensive as the material of the bag is not so good.

Black slip on - i loved the flowerly pattern on the shoes. I bought it at a steal @ $10. I am glad that the only pair has my size --7.

We had finally bought our bigger fridge from gaincity. Our new fridge arrived on Wed. I had called the new fridge, "mummy fridge" as it is only slightly smaller than the bigger fridge in the kitchen. Mummy fridge is now placed in the living room. For the baby fridge that i bought two years ago, we planned to give it to 'blood' when he returned to his hostel in Aug. He is now enjoying life in Germany.

I had bought lot of drinks to be stored in mummy fridge while for baby fridge, i had placed all the cats food inside.

A 'CREATIVE' way to resign? Try it if u dare...

Formal and straight forward.... but that was two months ago.

Shoppin for new MP3 player

Sister and I went to Compass Point yesterday. We were supposed to meet M to sell her the cookies at 12 noon but we waited 20 min for bus 159 to come and got there only at 12.15 pm. M make a generouse donation to the cats @ ECP.

We next visited the library and borrowed two books. Then we proceeded to Courts Sengkang. I was finally determined to buy samsung MP3 player when two weeks ago, i was still deciding on creative or apple and for the third time, i changed my mind.



The SA there really need serious product training. When i mentioned about the free adaptor and case that came with the player, the SA was flipping the newspaper for the ad...till i told them it is not a Courts ad that advertise the players. Another senior uncle SA then came to serve us. I thought of buying the pink version of the player but it was out of stock. Sister then asked the person if he could check of their other outlets had the model colour. At first, the uncle said it was hard to see if other outlets had, but still he make the call. The uncle SA gave a long *sigh* that we could heard when he made the call to the outlets. I thought it sound rude to give that *sigh* where customers can hear it....Sister then said it was difficult to make a deal with us. But nevertheless at least, he was 'kind' enough to check it for us. After the call, he said that there was no longer pink version at the other outlets. I then said i would like the black version. At the payment counter, i forgot my pin for my card.... i suddenly gone blank when i was supposed to key in the numbers. In the end, i needed to use sister's card for payment. I felt old when i forgot that pin.. Still need to repay sister $348 for my 4G player.

Today, we went to dad's workplace. I saw the two bob-tail cats and little blackie cat. They are very scared of us...keep staring at us from the roof area. Dad fed them canned food mixed with rice. Dad then took us to Funan IT mall where i collected the free gifts from my player.

We were home before 11 am.

Tonight, Auntie L had told sister to feed xiaobai, baby, ring ring... as she will not be home in time to feed them. I do not know if i can find them since i only feed pi pa and mimi at 10 plus.

How weird is Sweetie?

1) Will lie on the floor for 'sayang' when we asked her "want to sayang or not"
2) Know which floor we are staying. Sweetie used to come downstairs to pee/poo and dad would took her home..Once the lift said "storey 8", sweetie would come out and ran straight to our unit. If the lift said " storey 9", sweetie will ran down the stairs right to our unit. Once dad pressed the wrong button "storey 6" sweetie refused to leave the lift.
3) Know how to use the toilet drain hole to pee and poo (no need to buy litter box)
4) Like to stay around her human friends - bath time, dinner time, bed time
5) Do not make any morning call when she is awake in the morning. Her other 'siblings' meow first thing they open their eyes.

How weird is DD?

1) Refuse to anything except dry food because she know that there is always an alternative if she choose not to eat the rice with fish meal

2) Can be our 'poster' girl for anything - we can put her on a chair, put clothes on her - she is never angry

3) Like to scream ' Mee-aoo.' for food - normal cat meow, she mee-aoo like a lamb

4) Can be carry like a baby for hours

5) Quick learner - she learn how to use the toilet like sweetie, how to stand on hind legs to pee at passer-by at our door.

How weird is KK?

1) Full of energy - endless

2) Always jumping on wall

3) love to make sweetie 'angry' and then roll on the floor like very happy because he has done something he felt good about.

4) Has a musical meow when he is supposed to be a guy (wheres DD has a loud meow)

5) Is the only male cat in our house - is this weird?

My favourite creation in mugger cafe

This is my fav corner of the cafe. The big window on the side is supposed to be a takeaway counter but i cannot find any open window so i just placed a big window instead. I liked how the bar counter connected so well together. The door behind the counter leads to the kitchen.

Computer Corner, discussion room and magazine area

We had difficulty finding computers for the computer area..blood managed to find computers from the SIMS by installing the SIMs university that had more funiture. We find other sites to download the white chairs that blood said "must have armrest". I put a dull blue for the discussion room. It look sort of boring, i think i will fall asleep discussing whatever inside the room.

Unoffical project teammates? where's my credit?

According to sister, their project has 9 members. i am the 'ghost' member where i am the '10' member.

My job is to help brother created the floor plan for mugger cafe using "Sim university". I think i spend like 5 hours from 10 plus to 3 am on saturday to design a decent layout. I am going to put more pictures as a memory of my creation.

Yipee, brother and sister's school project had ended yesterday. I found this cute poster in the desktop,the cat look cute yawning but i wonder why blood and sis did not choose sweetie or DD as poster girl. Mugger cafe is just a fake cafe by the way.
