15/10/2009 (Thurs) 农历8月7日: Today dad, mum and I went to AMK Blk 226 to watch getai. We were seated at row B5, centre area. As I am seated near the centre area, i am unable to take shots of the whole stage as I am blocked by the guy taking care of the lighting. Nevertheless, i walked right near the front whenever there are new singers on stage. Esp when Hao Hao was on stage, i purposely walk even near to the stage. The laser lighting of the stage is very well done. Today event is from Hao Ling Gong in celebration of gods birthday as well.
Of course, my main purpose is to see my favourite Hao Hao. I finally managed to buy tickets for his 2/01/2010 concert at Downtown East. I bought two tickets for mum and myself - Paid $96 for two Row 7 tickets. Mum had 'warned' me not to be so crazy over Hao Hao - haha...But I had never wasted a single cent to watch any type of concert so i think this is an eye-opening for me as well as mum.
We were buying tickets when mum saw Hao Hao. She called him and informed Hao Hao that i alway chased him whenever he goes. Silly me just smiled at Hao Hao and gave him a equally silly wave.Wow, he's super friendly, always willing to stop for a photo shots with his fans. He's selling Temple hongbaos and when he came to our seat, i called him and requested him to take a shot where he's happily said ok and allowed me to take - the shot dun turn out kind but it's ok. So busy still allow me to take his photo, how sweet of him.
Aiya, actually i only watched Hao Hao getai when Hao Hao is somewhere near AMK or Hougang Area and a place with direct bus. No choice ler, had to work till 6 pm, rush home to feed cats, if distance is far, by the time i reached the area is already close to 9pm. I heard that Hao Hao will be hosting at 561 Yishun Ring Road Opposite Blk 123 on 19/10/2009. very inconvenient for me to go so i will give this getai a miss. But from the newspapers, read that there will be getai for 8 straight nights on the Yishun area.
However, the getai helpers or duno whom on earth are those idiots are quite rude. As the lights are not on, we are unable to locate where is the table to buy our tickets. So mum went into the restricted area but was shouted away by one guy. In fact, a few aunties were just shouted away. Dun see the need to shout, can just tell in a nice manner. Or u jolly well put a signboard stating in CHINESE - no english coz most Aunties duno English: ***NO ENTRY!!!***. Damn it lor, dun treat an auntie like that can or not ##$@. Whom can see in the dark and moreever, the place was crowded with people, how to see where is the admin table. I do not see the point for this kind of rude attitdue even though i am very familar with rough or loud talking ppl having working in a motor-repair company currently.
Today singers are Lou Meiyi, 陈蓉乐, 李宝恩, 侯美仪, 小萍萍 and Yan Hong. The getai supporting dancers is 爱舞者 from KL, Malaysia. Finally watch Lee Pei fen host, she's ok. I finally get to know whom is Chen Rong Ler. Her edited version of 'Ah Gong Dian' with lyrics written for the temple is very nice. Xiao Ping Ping is also a wonderful singer, heard that she had sing since she is 9 years old.
Today Audience - i am seated at the rear area near the centre division area so i am able to walk up and down the area to take clearer shots

Hao Hao went down the stage with Pei fen selling temple hongbaos. He was selling hongbaos and hosting the show at the same time.It's pity that dad had bought 1 hongbao from the temple committee instead of from hao hao.
Nevertheless,when i requested a photo taking, Hao Hao agreed with hestisation. The photo is a bit blurred as i did not press the half shutter button for focus to take place.
